- 2¼ cup flour
- ¾ cup whipping cream (scant)
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbs grated lemon peel (zest from 1 lemon)
- Juice from 1 lemon
- 1-2 tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp salt
- poppy seeds
Directions:
- Heat
oven to 400 F.
- Mix
ingredients together in a bowl.
- Shape
dough into 6 slightly flattened balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes.
