Betsy’s No Garlic Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 4 c heavy cream
  • 2 c Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
  • 1½  tsp salt (to taste)
  • 2-4 tsp onion powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp ground oregano
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbs lemon juice 
  • 2 Tbs Wondra flour (to desired thickness)

Directions:
  1. In a medium sauce pan, heat the cream over medium heat.
  2. Stir in the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, stirring frequently until the cheese melts and is fully blended in. 
  3. Whisk in the chili flakes, salt, onion powder, oregano, chili powder, and pepper. 
  4. Whisk in the lemon juice then the Wondra flour last.
  5. Toss with your favorite pasta and enjoy!
