Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
1½ c sour cream
1½ c fresh cilantro leaves
¼ - ½ c minced red onion (or other onion)
- 4 tsp lemon or lime juice
- 1 Tbs mild diced green chilis
- ¾ tsp ground onion powder
½+ tsp salt (to taste)
½+ tsp chili powder (to taste)
¼ tsp ground cumin
- ground pepper (to taste, about 1/16 tsp)
Directions:
- Blend together in a food processor until creamy and smooth.
I served this sauce over sautéed salmon and we couldn’t stop
making yummy sounds!
Creative Considerations:
- For a delicious fiesta salad dressing, thin the sauce with milk until it's your desired texture.
