Ingredients:
- 1-2 lbs. Betsy’s No Garlic Turkey Breakfast Sausage
- 2 c milk (almond milk, cream, or a combination also works)
- 3+ Tbs Wondra flour
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- Biscuits (we like Bisquick)
- Olive oil for frying (about 2-3 Tbs)
Directions:
- Add olive oil to a large skillet and brown the breakfast sausage on medium heat, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon or spatula into crumbles. Be sure to stir frequently so no raw sausage remains.
- Once the sausage is thoroughly cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the milk.
- Stir in the onion powder if desired.
- Thicken by adding 1 Tbs of Wondra flour at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
- Sprinkle the top with freshly ground black pepper.
- Serve over halved biscuits and enjoy!
