Betsy’s No Garlic Bodacious Biscuits and Groovy Gravy

Ingredients:
  • 1-2 lbs. Betsy’s No Garlic Turkey Breakfast Sausage
  • 2 c milk (almond milk, cream, or a combination also works)
  • 3+ Tbs Wondra flour 
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Biscuits (we like Bisquick)
  • Olive oil for frying (about 2-3 Tbs)

Directions:
  1. Add olive oil to a large skillet and brown the breakfast sausage on medium heat, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon or spatula into crumbles. Be sure to stir frequently so no raw sausage remains. 
  2. Once the sausage is thoroughly cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the milk.
  3. Stir in the onion powder if desired. 
  4. Thicken by adding 1 Tbs of Wondra flour at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. Sprinkle the top with freshly ground black pepper. 
  6. Serve over halved biscuits and enjoy!
