Betsy’s No Garlic Herbed Gorgonzola Bread

Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf of fresh Dutch Crunch bread (or fresh French bread)
  • 1 c Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • ½ c butter, softened
  • ¼ c Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated 
  • 1 tsp minced onion
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp salt

Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place open-faced on a baking sheet. 
  3. Mix the butter, Gorgonzola cheese, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, minced onion, olive oil, Italian seasoning, and salt in a bowl until thoroughly blended. 
  4. Spread ½ the mixture on the top half of the bread, and ½ the mixture on the lower half of the bread. 
  5. Bake at 350 F for 15 minute or until slightly golden.
  6. Thoroughly enjoy and make yummy sounds!
